Life is too short, so don’t spend time with people who suck the happiness out of you.
“Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending.” – Maria Robinson
If someone wants you in their life, they will make room for you and value you. You don’t need to fight for a spot to be appreciated.
It is essential to have friends in your life, and it is just as important to have ones that motivate us and help us grow. These friends will or should be around when we go through good times or difficult times. No matter how hard life gets.
It is not the people that stand by your side when things are at there best for you, but the ones who stand beside you when things are at there worst for you as well, those are your real friends.
However, people change, circumstances change in which we have no control over; therefore, naturally, those friends may no longer add value to your life.
“Some people will stick to you like ticks pretending that they like you, but in essence, they are just sucking away your happiness.” ~ Florence Loko
Let’s look at the friends that you shouldn’t hesitate to close the door on.
The Fake ones, the ones that always compliment you, yet you can feel that their words are vague and insignificant. Those are the friends that want you to like them and get attention.
The Naysayer ones that are unsupportive. They destroy all your hopes, dreams, and ideas with doom and gloom discouraging comments. Those are the ones that are terrified of getting out of their own comfort zones. They are scared of venturing out for fear of making mistakes.
Something to remember ~ we learn from mistakes!
The Show Off ones that every conversation is all about them and their achievements. They can be very draining and monotonous. They don’t care about you to hear your stories.
The Doubter ones, the ones who criticize and don’t support you in reaching your goals. They like to see you fail so that they can feel superior.
Oh, and The Complainer ones, they are the worst, as they never stop complaining. They are ungrateful. Their life is unhappy, and they are just full of negativity. They don’t like to see others happy and fulfilled in life. Don’t allow them to pull you into their miserable life filled with negativity!
Don’t allow TOXIC people to kill your hopes, dreams, and your vibes. Not every person you hang out with is a friend.
