Neijae became interested in hairstyling when she tagged along with her older brother to the Junior Barber Academy

Meet Neijae Graham-Henries, a 7-year-old who is passionate about hair and “doing good.” Before she started the second grade, Neijae decided she wanted to learn how to be a barber. After obtaining her certification at the Junior Barber Academy in North Philadelphia, she started giving free haircuts to other kids in the city.

CBS News reports that Neijae became interested in hairstyling when she tagged along with her older brother to the Junior Barber Academy. Though he wasn’t interested in the craft, she was! Said Jamie Graham, Neijae’s mother: “When we came back home, she saw some of the information on social media and she said, ‘Mom, he doesn’t want to do it, I’ll give it a go.’”

Michael Boone, the owner of the Junior Barber Academy, says Neijae is the youngest trainee yet. She was 7-years-old when she entered the program and graduated before the second grade. That’s pretty impressive, right? “She wasn’t intimidated because she was the youngest student and she was not intimidated because she was the only female,” said Graham.

When asked if she aspires to cut a certain celebrity’s hair, Neijae divulged that she would. Who would the lucky recipient be? None other than US President Donald Trump. Said Neijae, “Donald Trump, he has too much long hair, so I would cut it.”

On hair, she stated: “The whole process is to finish it and do it really good and to, like, style it good.”

Neijae is truly one-of-a-kind. Few people — let alone kids under the age of 10— dream about helping others. If you are inspired by her example, please share this news and comment your thoughts below. If everyone acted like Neijae, the world would indeed be a very different place.
