Majority of us don’t like change. Change is not easy to process. It often leaves us feeling uncomfortable. Some of us would take that as a sign that they are doing something wrong. Yet it is an essential part of our evolvement.
When you are having these uncomfortable emotions of fear and discomfort, you should take a step back and re-evaluate your life, cause, in fact, you could be on the right track.
Below are some of the uncomfortable feelings that tell you that you are on the right track.
The feeling of being Isolated.
The thought of absorbing other people’s problems is merely an indication that you are now self-reflecting. As you move forward to improve yourself and your lifestyle, you will realize that these changes need to be done alone.
The responsibility is all yours for your own life and happiness.
Having difficulty focusing.
Misplacing and forgetting things is perfectly normal and reasonable when you are undergoing changes that are deep and meaningful.
Feeling anxious and restless.
New possibilities will trigger one’s imagination. Be it a new job or a new relationship; any changes will cause feelings of anxiety and restlessness.
When making changes, your behavior patterns change from what you have learned from some friends and family, and that will cause resentment or irritation towards them.
Feeling lost and directionless.
You may be misinterpreting it for depression. All it means is that you are dealing with new emotions and experiences. You could even question what you are doing next and precisely who you are. This is when you are becoming more present in your life and are considering alternative opportunities.
Disrupted sleeping patterns.
Your mind becomes very active and cluttered, racing through all these new ideas, emotions, and experiences, which will cause disrupted sleep.
Empowered and standing up for yourself.
The idea of being walked all over and disrespected is no longer acceptable. You now stand your ground for what you believe and value.
Every thing in your life is a reflection of a choice you have made. If you want a different result, make a different choice!
